Ridgeville gets richer when we share our dreams for the community with each other. The Idea Box is a way for the Ridgeville Foundation Board to hear from community members about what they think should be happening here in Ridgeville. This can be anything – an event, a project, or a program – that you think would be of benefit to the broader Ridgeville community.
The Foundation Board members will review Idea Box submissions twice a year – once in spring, once in autumn – and pursue any ideas that not only have that special spark, but seem realistic, needed, and actionable.
The Idea Box is in its pilot phase, and the Foundation has limited funds available to disperse. We are therefore looking to partner with individuals who can demonstrate an ability to mobilize grassroots support for their idea and are willing to become active partners in the fundraising process. For that reason, the scope of projects may range from $500 to $10,000. It all depends on what level of community support we can generate to support the initiative.
Creativity is to be celebrated, so if you have a dream, send it our way! Don’t worry if you don’t have all of that details worked out yet. This is just the first step. If we decide to move forward with your proposal, we will contact you to get more information
The spring submission deadline is May 30th. The Board will review later Idea Box submissions in the autumn.
